The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The Department of Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center, Section of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine are seeking candidates for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics depending on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- providing clinical care (inpatient and outpatient);
- participating in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other health professionals;
- having a leadership role in infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship activities;
- conducting clinical, translational, epidemiologic or laboratory research in the field of Pediatric Infectious Diseases; and other duties as needed.

Required Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD/DO, MD/PhD, degrees or equivalent;
- BC/BE in Pediatric Infectious Diseases;
- holding (or eligible for) Massachusetts physician license.
